Okay,
so I’ve not done an update in so long and I feel like there’s way too much to
catch up on and most of it was far too long ago to really mention – I know, I
am a bad blogger. First up though, let’s talk Alfie... he’s now crawling! He’d
been trying and trying for weeks and I was adamant he would finally do while
Ash was away (more on that later!) – he actually finally cracked it a week or
two later. He’s now running riot downstairs and absolutely adores being on the
move. It means I have to be so vigilant and watch him like a hawk, but he loves
his new found freedom! He’s also becoming more adventurous with food and loves peanut
butter sandwiches, as well as hummus on toast!
Back
to what I’ve been up to and as I mentioned, Ash went away, on a stag do, for
five nights. It gave me the perfect opportunity to go home and do fun things
like see mum, my Nan, old friends and neighbours (while also doing boring
things like getting my car serviced). We also spent a day at Ash’s
grandparents, which is something I love to do. And Alfie went to the dentist
for the first time!
We’ve
had lots of trips out, too. Me and my mummy friend took our boys to the farm
and for a walk around Willen Lake (where I had the lushest ice cream). Ash and
I also went to see Disney on Ice in Birmingham – and it was so nice to
go out just the two of us. We’ve explored the local area a lot, going on family
walks and making the most of the sunshine... let’s hope it lasts! Caldecotte
Lake is one of my favourite current spots and we also had a great pub lunch at The Caldecotte Pub & Grill.
Hopefully
I’ll get my blogging mojo back and my next update won’t be so late!
What
have you been up to lately?
Love,
Lucy xx
