I love where I live as I’m only half an hour
from Central London – I don’t think I could ever live in the city, but there’s nowhere
better for a day, or night out. Last Saturday was a busy one: I’d booked afternoon
tea with my best friend Laura near Buckingham Palace and in the evening, we
were out near Covent Garden to celebrate Mariah’s birthday! Of course, choosing
an outfit and doing my hair and makeup was a nightmare, as I needed something
suitable for both occasions.
What
I wore –
Top: Lipsy
Blazer: New Look
Leather-look leggings: New Look
Boots: New Look
Earrings: Vivienne Westwood

I’m going to be writing a post about the
afternoon tea, which was good. The location was beautiful and I enjoyed the
food, even though it wasn’t very traditional. We were there for a couple of
hours, but still had some time to kill until Be At One. Laura suggested a
couple of drinks in Holborn at All Bar One. We ended up chatting to a group of
guys on a stag do, which was a laugh – plus the rosé there was amazing!
Be At One was a really good night, I’d never
been there before but will definitely be going back. It’s an underground
cocktail bar with a constant flow of music and plenty of room to dance. Laura
and I arrived early – the table was booked from 8pm until 3am, when the bar
closed, but we were shown to the table on arrival, after getting a drink of
course.
The cocktail menu is huge, there was so much
choice. I only managed to sample a handful: strawberry frozen daiquiri, passion
fruit frozen daiquiri, paradise punch, candy pants, pornstar martini and Japanese
slipper. The frozen cocktails were my favourite, but they went down far too easily,
like boozy slush puppies.
I had a really fab night, even though we had
to leave at 11 to get the last train home. I’m sure Mariah and her friends
continued to have a great time after we’d gone.
Love the pink top
