Since I originally wrote this post, it's worth noting that Jess recently had a stand at the National Wedding Show. From Insta, it looked stunning, and no doubt it was a huge hit with brides to be.
And since my original post, her range has extended, too. Not only are there a wide range of colours and designs for the wax seals, but you can also get lavender-infused seals. Scrolling through her Insta grid, I’m actually quite envious of the calligraphy on agate and even oyster shells. It's fair to say I feel like such a basic bitch, in comparison.

above and you'll see our Save the Dates. And it's the same theme we went with for
our invitations – day and night. I absolutely adore the floral elements that
Jess created which totally mirror our colour scheme and have that minimal
rustic vibe we were going for.
I had seen on another suite (on Insta, I think) that Jess included a venue sketch and I immediately fell in love with that. Earlier this year when we received a wedding invitation from friends, also with a venue as an image, I knew that was exactly what I wanted on ours. There’s just something about it that makes it quite personal.
With that in mind, I went with the bi-fold card, with a wax
seal closing the doors. I wanted to keep the floral elements key, so that was the
focus on the outside, with the venue the real focus point once the invitation
was open. We still used the floral subtly, as line breaks.
The fonts that
were used on both the Save the Dates and invitations have been included
throughout our stationery suite on-the-day – and I honestly couldn't be happier
with how the invites looked. Genuinely Jess saw my vision and exceeded my
expectations!
I was super keen for everything to be matchy-matchy, as I know I was asking for a lot with the floral touches, the sketch, and not to mention the different styling of elements for on-the-day – the centrepieces, in particular – that I chose. More on that soon. Similar to the Save the Dates, we used the wax seals on the envelopes for the evening invites.
Jess was so
easy to work with. She knew exactly what I wanted, and I had no major amends to
make to either of the invites. I would highly recommend her if you're looking
for a wedding stationer.
And as I
mentioned earlier, keep your eyes peeled for my suppliers’ post. All that’s
left to say is thank you Jess for making my vision a reality. I cannot wait for
everyone to see all the on-the-day stationery on Saturday!
