Following on from my previous Favourite Five post (which was hair care products, in case you missed it), tonight I’m going to share the skincare products I simply cannot get enough of. This was a fairly easy post to write, although if you’ve seen my dressing table and several drawers/boxes of products, you’ll know I have far too many and it’s a wonder I could narrow it down to just five.

(1) Aurelia Miracle Cleanser (£38 | 120ml)
I first received a sample of this cleanser in a Latest in Beauty box and I immediately fell in love. I’ve used a number of high-street and high-end brands when it comes to cleansers, toners and moisturisers – and this one is a definite winner. When I think of Aurelia, I think spas and luxury – and this is certainly a luxurious product. It thoroughly cleanses, removing all traces of dirt and makeup. I have so many of the smaller sample sizes, I just need to bite the bullet and buy the full size. The muslin cloth is also the perfect size and is an absolute dream.

(2) Garnier Oil-Infused Micellar Water (£5.99 | 400ml)
Micellar Water has been everywhere for what feels like forever and it almost seemed a blogger requirement to be obsessed. I used the original water first, before being sent the oil-infused version for review. I much prefer this – in terms of formula, ease of makeup removal and the affect it has on the skin. I was sceptical about using an oil-based product, but it’s not at all greasy and removes the most stubborn of thick, black makeup easily. It isn’t harsh on the skin, particularly the eye area and leaves my face feeling soft and moisturised – although I will always use my night cream.

(3) Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream (£12.99 | 50ml)
And here is said night cream – and it’s another Latest in Beauty find. I originally purchased this cream because I was on a look-out for a new one and as I was building my own box, I thought what better way of trying something I hadn’t before. I have only had this product for a couple of months, but I’ve already stocked up! Recently I’ve been quite stressed and run-down; as a result, my skin has suffered. I only use the smallest pea-sized amount of this cream, applying in circular motions and I’ve noticed the difference in my skin – it’s no longer dry, it looks a lot less tired and even younger. It’s going to be perfect during the winter months.

(4) Elemis Treat your Feet foot cream (£20 | 75ml)
I’m certain this has featured in many a monthly favourite, so for that reason, it warrants a place in my favourite five – even if the tube recently ran out and I’ve not had the time to replace it. No matter the season, this is perfect for keeping tootsies hydrated and prevents dryness and roughness. I’ll admit, I’m more likely to use this in the summer, but it’s ideal after a hot shower as well. There’s nothing better than slathering a thick layer on, applying woollen socks and getting super cosy.

(5) Legology Exfo-Lite Detoxifying Leg Scrub (£42 | 5x50ml)
Anyone who’s a long-serving Twitter follower will know I suffer with self-diagnosed restless leg syndrome and often at night, I will itch my legs until they’re red and scaly (beaut I know). I also get these little raised bumps on the backs of my legs and occasionally arms – not too sure if it’s linked? But this leg scrub is something I use weekly in the shower. I do like to exfoliate twice a week but I particularly love the coarse texture of this scrub. It’s great for improving circulation (another problem of mine!), as well as enhancing the smoothness and suppleness of the skin. It’s an oil-based scrub so also polishes. One sachet is more than enough for both legs and I just find this such a miracle product. My brother managed to secure this PR sample but I’m desperate to stock up.
