February Favourites

Style
I love ankle boots and have been wearing these beauties from New Look ALL the time (they’re not in the photo as I’ve packed them for Budapest!). I love the size and the wide-fit is great for me. They’re so comfy and unlike other boots, aren’t too tight or make your feet too hot. They are just too cute.

I’m all about accessorising and I’ve been loving my leopard print scarf – I got it from a souvenir shop in La Palma, only 5 - and of course, my necklaces. The floral one was from Cherry Diva, they have so many great accessories and statement pieces (check them out!) – all at reasonable prices.

Beauty
Has anyone else been suffering with dry lips this month? I thought I was done with that now spring’s on the way, but obviously not. I drink lots of water and don’t eat much salt so I’m not sure why it’s so bad. Luckily my Lush lip scrub and collection of BabyLips sticks came to my rescue. My favourite is definitely Peach Kiss although the Intense Care one has been perfect.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but I suffer so badly with itchy legs. I can scratch in my sleep until they’re red and even cracked (grim, I know). I hate that they go so bumpy and it’s even worse when I shave. Luckily the Sanctuary Spa Resurface & Refine Ultra Polish is amazing – it smoothes skin and helps soothe those bumps. It’s like a light exfoliator, but isn’t harsh. I try and apply it three times a week.

Lifestyle
I’m currently obsessed with buying books and as I want to try and read one every month (not happened with this month being shorter), I’ve stocked up. I love Cecilia Ahern and Sophie Kinsella, while I’m also a sucker for a cute title and pretty cover.

If you saw my last post, you’d know I’ve finished the Sarah Wilson 8-week programme to quitting sugar. I feel so much better about myself but now need to set myself some targets. As it’s getting brighter, I want to start running – but I need a buddy or an iPod that works!

  1. I've been trying to read more this year too, I must have got through 7 or 8 books in January but only managed one in February which makes me sad! x

  2. I wish I could read that many books in a month - I should probably buy myself a Kindle! xx
