Review: Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Masque

Gently peel away dead skin with our amazing Passion Peel Off deep cleansing masque. Our Pomegranate and Passion Flower formula cleans, purifies and protects leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant.
In my skincare routine post, I mentioned how it’s a necessity for me to treat myself weekly and indulge with a face mask. I love the Montagne Jeunesse brand and have been working my way through their range. I’m definitely going to stock up at some point, but this time round I tried a new one – the passion peel off masque.
I’d previously been using wash off masks, so opted for this peel off variety for a change – plus I love fruity fragrances; the pink drew me in as well.
The mixture came out of the sachet quite runny and sticky, making it quite hard to apply evenly. Compared to previous packs I’d tried, there didn’t seem to be as much either – just enough to cover my whole face. I left in for the 15-20 minutes as suggested, but even at this stage, it didn’t seem to have set fully. Around my jaw line began to peel midway through the waiting time, but the peeling process seemed to take forever. It came off in really small pieces, while I was left with a stick mess in the areas that hadn’t actually dried. In the end, I jumped in the shower and washed it all off.
My skin was left soft and clear, but I was slightly disappointed with the fuss of this particular mask. As much as I love Montagne Jeunesse, I don’t think I will be buying this mask again.
