Fashion posts are generally few and far between on here and on my Instagram grid. That WFH life doesn’t really warrant documentation – although I’d like to think I still dress like I’m always in an office… even if it’s a home office. But I’m excited to share this post because it contains not one, but three outfits – and best of all, they’re perfect for this time of year. Even writing this, I’ve got all the autumn vibes and cosy feels. Femme Luxe are a fashion brand straight outta Manchester, and who kindly gifted me these pieces, so read on to see three looks for three occasions.
Cosy Autumn Vibes x WFH Life
I love a
leather look item – trousers, skirts, jackets… I’ve worn them all! I teamed up
the black high-waisted skinny trousers with an over-sized knitted jumper for a
super casual, yet cosy look. This was perfect for working from home and the
school run.
This is
definitely a look I’d go with again and I love that these trousers can be worn
day or night. I love the trend of over-sized knits tucked into trousers and this
will be my go-to. However, these trousers could also be teamed with a glitzy
top, or for those more confident than I am, a crop top.
One thing I
will say is that I ordered these trousers in a size 12 and definitely regret
not getting a 10, as they come up quite big around my legs. I was expecting the
high-waisted trousers to feel like spray-on leggings, but instead, they’re more
like cigarette pants. I’m always in between sizes so find it difficult finding
trousers that fit perfectly.
Feeling Neutral x Pumpkin Pickin’
Okay, so this
dress had its first outing at The Patch MK for a day of pumpkin picking –
mainly because I loved the colour and thought it would be ideal with all the
photo opportunities, as well as complement the autumnal colours of the pumpkins
and fields. The chocolate ribbed plunge midi jumper dress is so flattering and fits
so well, without being too snug – so perfect if you’re out for a big meal.
In fact, the
dress can be worn for any occasion – brunch, lunch, drinks, staying in or going
out. Here, I teamed it up with my new and trusty teddy coat, as well as my
brown ankle boots. But it would look great with chunky black boots or even knee-high
boots – with or without tights.
I adore the
style with the collar leading to the plunge neck and the long-line buttons.
Brown isn’t a colour I wear often, but this is making me want to wear it more.
You can’t go wrong with a midi dress, either.
Two-for-One x Date Night
This outfit I
was most excited about because I’ve wanted a trouser suit for ages – I’ve just
never found one that I liked or that fitted properly. I’ve always wanted one for
my work wardrobe, because it’s such an easy option for a well-put-together
outfit and looks effortlessly stylish. This was an absolute steal.
Last week, Ash
and I had a date night at a super cute Italian and I knew I just had to wear
this little ensemble – the collarless open front blazer and high-waisted flaredtrousers, both in a gorgeous sage hue. Sage was one of the colours for our
wedding colour scheme and as we were celebrating our anniversary early, it was
the perfect date night outfit. I wore a white strappy top (although a crop top
or even a slogan tee would work well) and my off-white Kurt Geiger sandals.
I ordered the
jacket in a size 10 and the trousers in a size 12. The trousers were so comfy
and roomy, being high-waisted – perfect after all the carbs. I don’t normally
go for flared trousers, but the fit was flattering and I loved the way that
they just hung. It’s definitely a cute look for a date night – or even a last-minute
option for brunch with the girls. And I’m still thinking about wearing it being
a future office outfit too.
I’ve linked all
the items worn above but check out the Femme Luxe website for the latest trends
