February favourites

February seemed to fly by and even though it wasn’t that much shorter than other months this year, I really didn’t have that many favourite products, nor did I use that many new ones that were worth shouting about.

The B Pure Micellar Cleansing Wipes (£1 – Superdrug) are amazing. I got these in the Blogger Pamper Hamper and used them all this month. I was so late to the whole Micellar ‘trend’, but I would definitely buy these again. They removed the most stubborn of eyeliner and I didn’t even need to cleanse or tone afterwards, making it the best lazy girl product.

My brother bought me the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette (£38.50 – Urban Decay) for my birthday and it’s absolutely unreal! I honestly think it’s better than my original Naked palette too, simply because I often wear a smoky eye and just love all the darker shades in it. I probably use this more times a week than my other, but seriously, what was my life before I had either?

You may have seen on Instagram (LucyLocket_x, btw!) that I’ve been using my BaByliss Curl Secret probably too much. When I’m curling my hair, there are two products I overly rely on – because let’s be honest, it’s all about big, bouncy hair. The Tresemme Make Waves Hairspray (currently £3.99 – Superdrug) is the best. It smells so good, isn’t too thick and doesn’t leave hair overly crispy. Plus – and no lie – it keeps my curls looking deec for 48 hours. I can curl my hair on Saturday and then go into work with it still looking alright on the Monday. The Batiste XXL Plumping Powder (£3.99 – Superdrug) is a lifesaver, because you only need the tiniest bit and you don’t need to backcomb (which I will never be able to master). I’m tempted to start using this with my Sleep-In rollers.

And finally the Elemental Herbology Cell Food Radiance and Vitality Serum (£45 – Feel Unique) was something I received in my February Libbie Club box and instantly fell in love with. I previously used the Benefit Instant Comeback serum, but this is a million times better. The pipette ensures the right amount of product gets applied and I’ve noticed such a difference since using it.

What were your February favourites?
