My most favourite thing from the last month is actually an item of clothing. I got the most beautiful ribbed black dress from River Island for my birthday and I’ve worn it three times already. I love the style, particularly the slit down the side and it’s such a wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down. I don’t think it’s something I’d have picked out myself, as I often play it safe, but I’m totally in love with it. It’s currently in the wash, but you may have seen me wear it, here, or in my Twitter picture.

My gold necklace from Accessorize is one of my favourites and it’s something I often wear to work to add a bit of something to an otherwise boring office outfit. It goes with almost everything and I’m hoping it’ll soon be available in rose gold, if it isn’t already! I love Accessorize for jewellery, particularly bold and statement pieces.

I’ve been gushing over the DiorSkin Star foundation for absolutely ages and rightly so – it’s amazing! I finally got my hands on a bottle, after trying a couple of samples, as my brother bought it for me for Christmas. I’ve since stocked up and bought a couple more bottles. I use the light beige (020) shade and never need more than two layers, as it creates a perfectly flawless base. I wouldn’t go back to my previous foundation or try another brand!

One of my birthday presents from work was the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh gift set, containing the perfume, body lotion and shower gel. I’m definitely a Marc Jacobs girl, so not only was this the perfect gift for me, but it was also a fragrance I hadn’t tried before – although I currently have ‘original’ Daisy on my dressing table. Dot will always be my favourite but this definitely takes the number two spot. Both the shower gel and body lotion are long-lasting and the scent is beautiful. Like all other Marc Jacobs’ fragrances, the bottle is so cute and feminine, so it’s a winner for me!

And finally, you may have seen on Twitter I have started my Illamasqua lipstick collection. It may only stand at two at the minute, but I have no doubts I’ll soon be in double figures. I first tried the brand in a Latest in Beauty box and raved about it on my blog and social media. Immodest is so me; a gorgeous bubblegum/Barbie pink shade that is just really flirty and fun. Sangers on the other hand, is more suited to work and is just a bright red – it’s also one of the most popular products, so I just had to try it. I love to seal both with a lip balm or gloss and it ensures they stay put for hours.
