I recently read this tag post on Emily’s blog and as she tagged everyone, I thought I’d answer the questions. I think autumn is probably my favourite season – you’ll soon find out why!
Coffee -
What's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or any other coffee shop?
I love
gingerbread lattes, or chai lattes. I only really go for coffee at work or occasionally
if I’m in town at the weekend, so a packet of Nescafe gingerbread lattes are a
must. The limited edition millionaire shortbread ones are lush, too!
Accessories
- What do you opt for scarf, boots or gloves?
Definitely
boots – I’m not a glove or mitten wearer (they used to get in the way when I
was at Barnet) and I really can’t cope with scarves, they’re just too annoying.
I love to buy a new pair of boots in October ready for the colder months. I
love my Uggs as well!
Music -
What's your favourite music to listen to during autumn?
I don’t
listen to anything in particular, although I may start listening to Christmas
songs a little early. Currently, the debut album by The XX is playing in my car
– the deluxe version has a couple of great covers!
Perfume
- What's your favourite scent for this time of the year?
Well I
normally say goodbye to all those lovely Escada summer scents and at the
moment, I’m wearing Marc Jacobs’ Lola. I need to buy a new perfume, so please
let me know your favourite A/W fragrances.
Candles
- What scents will you be burning this season?
Well you can’t beat a Yankee and I’ve stocked up on votives for the
season. I’m currently burning Paradise Spice: a combination of banana, coconut,
cinnamon and cloves. It’s quite intense. I’m really looking forward to burning
Cinnamon Stick and Vanilla Chai though – and my all-time fave is Salted
Caramel.
What do
you love the most about autumn?
There’s not
one thing I could single out, I love so much about autumn. I love the colourful
leaves that are crisp under foot – you can’t beat an autumn walk in wellies. I
love to snuggle up in woolly socks and jumpers with a good book or film. Hot
drinks like spiced lattes or hot chocolate with marshmallows. Lush baths with
candles are also a must.
Favourite
make up look?
I don’t
really have a favourite look – my makeup only changes during the summer. I do
love darker shades of eye makeup and lipstick – and of course nail polish.
What are
you looking forward to the most in autumn?
Other than
the things I love most (mentioned above), I love having nights in with the
family, playing board games. Costa dates are always fun. And I have to mention
going out for afternoon tea with friends – I’m hopefully going twice in the
next few weeks.
I’m going
to tag Mariah (Starla Says),
Vicky (Beauty
Blogging Brunette) and Jess (Beauty
Bits & Bobs) and if you’ve already answered the tag,
please leave your links below – I’d love to know what you love about autumn.
Im more of a boot wearer too, you cant beat a good chelsea boot!
